April 30, 2007 - Ryotaro Shiba Museum [3Seventh]

Title: Ryotaro Shiba Museum
Artist: 3Seventh
Location: Madrid
Software: 3DsMax, Vray, Photoshop

This is my last personal work. It is a library-museum designed by Tadao Ando. Since I saw it for the first time i always wanted to reproduce it. About two weeks for modelling, texturing, rendering and compositing. Max, Vray, PS. Hope you like it.

Very nice work! I'm not sure about the camera angle. A little too distorted, but the level of detail and lighting are very good. I like alot of the other sample you placed in here as well.

Excellent modeling. However, I sure hope they are using UV control on that glass. The Museum Book covers are going to be shot with in a year!

I love the second image in the series.  Exquisite light and camera work.

Thanks for these.

Hello there!

For me the camera is just fair considering the tight space of the entire library hallway and the amount of view you wanted to show it up. It's completely understandable. Very good rendering and visualization man! Definitely an image of the week of choice! Congratulations.

Wonderful images! Very good work. I would like to ask you about the lightsources. How do you get the nice halo, glare, flare, glow (or whatever the correct term is) around the lights? Looks like a volume light effect but I guess it´s more to it than that. Please enlighten me!

/Daniel
